57. The ram ocium used for the preparation of Rugle opium is now obtained from the Govement of India et a fixed prico, under the terms of an agromont troviding for a na ximum supply of 1700 chuste pur year, From this a- mount, 1,850,000 tamlungs of Rogie Opium are properuð.

Orium Factory.

50. This factory, erected at a total cost of 1,300,000 ticels has "orked satisfactorily d noc 1913. Tho machine Boiling Plant hea a capacity for boiling and pruparing 1800 chusts of raw opium per annum at a much low-

r cost than the old method of hand boiling. The packing plant has a capacity of 60,000,000 tubus per annum, tho amount of orium packed depending on the sizes of the tubes isgued.
